In schools, people say that ''Class leader should be the role model for everyone'' . In film industry, the entire industry revolves around top heroes and their activities. Vijay, Ajith , Rajini and Kamal determine the fate of producers, directors and most importantly audience. As an audience, we suffer a lot because of their decisions. We love to watch the movies of star actors in theatres. When star actors select their scripts poorly, the audience are the people who get hurt by their massive expectations.

When I watched ''Vivegam''in theatre, I just wondered that even I could have rejected the script straight away. The romantic portion between Kajal agarwal and Ajith didn't upset me much. But, the couple did something with their ''eyes''. I was upset with that particular portion. In fact, I was hurt with that.
When we watch malayalam films in OTT platforms, we just couldn't stop talking wrong about tamil film industry. We should at the end of the day blame heroes. When Vijay calls the director and tells that he needs to perform in content oriented films instead of usual ''mass'' films, directors would love to do the same. It is quite straight forward that Vijay just wants to profit out of the movie and increase his salary by another many crores in the next film. When Vijay follows this pattern, other actors are taking this as their own inspirational pattern and in the end we are not able to see any films like Hridayam.
Hridayam is just an above average film for me. But, the freshness of the story is awesome. Ok, wait. Freshness? No. We are just fed up with the usual mass films and hence we have forgotten that there is a genre called ''Romantic genre''. In the end, even an above average film like Hridayam seems to be a heartwarming film and a fresh film for us.
The fans of Vijay and Ajith are so entertaining such that their theatre responses outside the theatres make us laugh out loud. They should look at malayalam films and stop entertaining ''mass masala'' films. If the fans start looking up to content oriented films, then tamil film industry would look into new future.
It is a very open secret that malayalam top actors are only behind content. I have very rarely seen a film making solely for mass heroes. Yes, it is done there. But, it may be ten percent. In tamil films, content oriented films are very rare. I don't even wish to put it in percentage.
The next question is ''Why don't fans entertain small films?''. This really a strange question. Consider ''Hridayam'' for instance. We have patience to watch a malayalam film with english subtitles and the hero of that film is not a star in Tamil Nadu. It simply means that we love small films with good content.
I would love to thank my readers for their response here. It is the reader's views that motivate me. Thank you.
